A tough road contest against a talented Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep squad handed the third loss of the season to Pitt commits Matt Alaimo and Nick Patti and their teammates at Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph's Regional. The Green Knights came up short in the fourth quarter, 21-17, against St. Peter's as Rivals250 Notre Dame linebacker commit Shayne Simon picked off Pitt quarterback commit Nick Patti in the end-zone on the final play of the game. Tight end commit Matt Alaimo finished with three receptions for 37 yards on the afternoon. St. Joseph's falls to 4-3 with the loss to this league opponent.

Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna Community College's usual dominance has continued unabated this season. The Falcons racked up another victory, improving to 6-1 as they comfortably handled Hocking College during homecoming. Pitt offensive tackle commit Chase Brown and his teammates finished the day with a 35-12 victory.

After losing their first game of the season to rival Belle Vernon, Thomas Jefferson seemingly came out angry against Uniontown (Pa.) Laurel Highlands on the road. The Jaguars scored early and often, racking up a 42-0 lead at halftime that held unchanged through the second half as they called off the dogs and pulled the starters. In limited action, Pitt defensive tackle commit Devin Danielson contributed one tackle. Thomas Jefferson is 7-1 heading into their final game of the regular season against West Mifflin.

A bye week was not enough for Richmond (Va.) Benedictine School to prepare for visiting Woodberry Forrest (Va.) on Saturday afternoon. The Cadets fell 35-26 to the Tigers, losing their second consecutive game and falling to 4-3 on the season. Still, Benedictine has yet to lose a regional game this season and will have two more regular season contests to conclude the schedule. Check out highlights from Pitt linebacker commit Wendell Davis from Saturday's contest below:

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic scored another comfortable victory on Friday night, taking care of Norwin on the road and racking up a 35-14 final score over the Knights by time it was all said and done. Central has struggled with their two marquee opponents - Cathedral Prep and Pine-Richland - but have rolled their way through the rest of the schedule to a 7-2 record. Pitt defensive tackle commit David Green accounted for two tackles and a sack in the victory.

There's little to remark on from Butler (Pa.)'s ninth game of the season. In what's been a tough year for senior Pitt commit Jake Kradel and his teammates, perhaps the lowest point came Friday against a dominant Pine-Richland squad. The Rams hosted the Golden Tornadoes and smacked them around for four quarters, earning a 64-0 win. Jake Kradel, an offensive guard commit for Pitt, punted five times for an average of just over 32 yards per punt. Butler is now 2-7 on the year.

A once-promising season has gone by the wayside for a proud Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic program. The Stags suffered their third consecutive loss on Saturday, falling to an even 4-4 on the season under head coach Elijah Brooks. This loss came at the hands of Washington (D.C.) St. John's College and Michigan quarterback commit Kevin Doyle on the road, 38-22. Neither stats nor highlights are available for Pitt commits John Morgan or Judson Tallandier.

Since the start of October, Pitt wide receiver commit Cameron O'Neil and his teammates at Phenix City (Ala.) Glenwood Academy have rolled to three straight comfortable victories, outscoring opponents 107-13 in that span. Friday's night contest on the road at Lanett (Ala.) Springwood was no different and resulted in a 42-7 victory. O'Neil contributed heavily, including a 61-yard rushing touchdown on a reverse play. Glenwood improved to 6-3 on the season and have locked up a home playoff game and a two-seed playoff berth in Alabama's class AAA, Region 1. Check out O'Neil's highlights from the game below.

The Jaguars scored early and often, racking up a 42-0 lead at halftime that held unchanged through the second half as they called off the dogs and pulled the starters. In limited action, Pitt defensive end commit Noah Palmer contributed two tackles. Thomas Jefferson is 7-1 heading into their final game of the regular season against West Mifflin.

The Green Knights came up short in the fourth quarter, 21-17, against St. Peter's as Rivals250 Notre Dame linebacker commit Shayne Simon picked off Pitt quarterback commit Nick Patti in the end-zone on the final play of the game. Patti finished the day going 14-of-25 on passing attempts for 159 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He rushed eight times for 40 yards, but fumbled twice and lost one of those. St. Joseph's falls to 4-3 with the loss to this league opponent.

Pitt cornerback commit Marquis Williams continued his stretch of dominance at the highest level of southern Florida football on Friday night, aiding his Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons squad in a huge 33-6 victory over the Hallandale (Fla.) Chargers. Gibbons racked up a 33-0 lead before surrendering a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Through eight games, Gibbons has earned a 7-1 record. It was a mud bowl on Friday night and little passing occurred, but Williams accounted for two tackles for a loss for the suffocating Gibbons defense. Check out highlights from the mid-way point of his senior season below:

An immensely impressive senior season continues for Pitt offensive tackle commit Blake Zubovic and his teammates on the Belle Vernon (Pa.) Leopards squad. Belle Vernon remained undefeated through the hardest stretch of their season on Friday night, improving to 8-0 with a 35-7 victory over West Mifflin (Pa.). Only a road game against Ambridge remains between the Leopards and the playoffs, where they'll likely have the top seed in the WPIAL's 4A classification.
