First offer for 2018 QB comes from Pitt

Despite being in the middle of the season and working to lock up the class of 2016, the Pitt coaches have an eye to the future, and on Tuesday they offered a second quarterback in the recruiting class of 2018.

Extremely blessed & honored that I have received my 1st offer from the University of Pittsburgh! #H2P pic.twitter.com/LjKhzlwVk7— Kevin Doyle (@Kevin_Doyle_13) October 21, 2015
Kevin Doyle is a 6'3" 185-pound quarterback at Malvern Prep in eastern Pennsylvania, and he was on the Pitt staff's radar after working out at their prospect camp this past summer.
He obviously impressed the Pitt coaches that day, and he was also impressed by what he saw.
"I am ecstatic," Doyle told Panther-Lair.com after getting the offer Tuesday night. "Pitt is a great school and great football, and Coach (Pat) Narduzzi is really putting the program in the right direction! Really liked Coach [Jim Chaney] as well."
Pitt is the first school to offer Doyle, and he is the second quarterback prospect in the class of 2018 to get an offer from the Panthers this month. Two weeks ago, Pitt was also the first to offer Pine-Richland sophomore quarterback Phil Jurkovec.
