Winston cuts it to three
Pitt had a top target on campus this past weekend for an official visit, and now the Panthers have made the cut, as four-star point guard Cassius Winston announced his top three schools Wednesday morning on Twitter.

That list is a cut from his previous top four, which included Pitt, Michigan State, Stanford and Michigan. Winston visited Stanford prior to his Pitt visit and will take an official visit to Michigan State this weekend.
Winston, the No. 28 overall prospect in the class of 2016, has ties to Pitt through his relationship with assistant coach Marlon Williamson, but Michigan State is thought to be the favorite at this point.
