Pitt has landed its quarterback for the class of 2012.
Todd Graham and his coaching staff identified Cleveland (Tenn.) standout Chad Voytik as their top quarterback target, and on Thursday, Voytik identified Pitt as his top target when he committed to the Panthers.
Voytik, 6'1" 183, picked Pitt over a host of scholarship offers, and had narrowed his final choices to Pitt, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt.
Last week, Voytik put in a standout performance at the Elite 11, an annual showcase for the nation's top quarterback prospects.
