Voytik commits to Pitt

Pitt has landed its quarterback for the class of 2012.
Todd Graham and his coaching staff identified Cleveland (Tenn.) standout Chad Voytik as their top quarterback target, and on Thursday, Voytik identified Pitt as his top target when he committed to the Panthers.

Voytik, 6'1" 183, picked Pitt over a host of scholarship offers, and had narrowed his final choices to Pitt, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt.
Last week, Voytik put in a standout performance at the Elite 11, an annual showcase for the nation's top quarterback prospects.
Click Here to view this Link.As a junior in 2010, Voytik threw for 1,850 yards and 17 touchdowns, while also rushing for 439 yards (5.8 yards per carry) and 7 touchdowns. He had another 1,800 yards and 16 touchdowns passing as a sophomore.
Voytik is the tenth recruit to commit to Pitt in the class of 2012, joining Johnstown linebacker Alkwan Williams, Sto-Rox cornerback Marzett Geter Clairton receiver Trenton Coles, Germantown cornerback William Parks, Bedford (Oh.) defensive end Myles Hilliard, Cincinnati (Oh.) St. Xavier offensive lineman Brandyn Cook, and Austintown (Oh.) Fitch receivers Chris and Demitrious Davis.
