Other Notes
- After spending the first two years of his Pitt career at quarterback - with a brief stay at H-back last season - redshirt sophomore Anthony Gonzalez will move to safety this summer. The quarterback position was crowded in the spring, and with Gonzalez moving to safety, the training camp quarterbacks will be Tino Sunseri, Mark Myers, Trey Anderson, and Chad Voytik.
- EJ Banks also spent time at quarterback this spring before moving to running back, and he'll now move back to cornerback and re-acquire his old number of 35.
- There was speculation about whether or not Brandon Ifill would stay at receiver; he moved to that position from safety in the spring despite the fact that Pitt has more receivers on the roster than defensive backs. According to the latest roster, he'll still be at receiver when training camp opens in August.
- Redshirt sophomore Brandon Sacco, who rejoined the team earlier this year, has moved from offensive center to defensive tackle.
- The 14 offensive linemen on the roster have an average height of 6'5" and an average weight of 312 pounds. 10 of the 14 are listed at 300 pounds or heavier, and 11 of the 14 are at least 6'5".
- The 16 scholarship defensive backs on the roster have listed heights that average 6'0", and nine of the 16 are at least 6'0" tall.
