Narduzzi gets another linebacker

Pat Narduzzi's roll on the defensive side of the ball continued Sunday with a commitment from Paramus Catholic linebacker Saleem Brightwell.
Brightwell picked the Panthers after an official visit, and he chose Pitt over offers from Boston Collee, Connecticut, East Carolina, Illinois, Iowa, Miami (Fla.), Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, N.C. State, Rutgers, Syracuse and Wisconsin.

Brightwell is the fifth recruit to commit to Pitt since Narduzzi became head coach, and all five have been on defense. The Panthers have also landed linebacker Anthony McKee, safety Jay Stocker and defensive ends Shawn Curtis and Allen Edwards.
In total, Pitt now has 15 commitments in the recruiting class of 2015 and nine of them are on defense.
