First appearance on Rivals: Nunn picked up his first offer of the recruiting process in the fall of his junior year as the Northwestern Wildcats jumped in with a scholarship. Northwestern was one of Nunn's top schools throughout the process until he chose Pitt. The Panthers other competition included schools like West Virginia, Indiana, and Iowa State.

Nunn commits to Pitt: Nunn committed to Pitt during a spring visit to the western Pennsylvania campus, announcing his decision on April 16th of 2016. Nunn visited over the course of a weekend, receiving an offer on Friday and watching Pitt's spring game on Saturday before committing.

In his words: “When I got the offer, I kind of had a feeling,” Nunn said. “I went back to the hotel and talked it over with my family, and it just seemed like the right fit for me. There was a moment when it all clicked for me. It was when I was taking a tour [Saturday] morning and I got to see everything and I was walking around campus and I felt like, ‘I could see myself here. I really love it here.’

“Then I talked to Coach Narduzzi after the spring game in the locker room. I told him I want to commit, I want to be part of the Panthers. He congratulated me and said he was really excited about it.”

Nunn's impact: "Nunn is expected to play as an outside linebacker in the “Money” role for Pitt. That position will place him on the boundary (or the shorter side of the field, closest to the sideline depending on which hashmark the offense is on) whereas the “Star” linebacker commits Albert Tucker and Cameron Bright will be slated to play to the field (or wider side of the field). Nunn will immediately inject a dose of athleticism and speed to that position, something Pat Narduzzi greatly desires." Read more in Film Room Friday.

From the coach: "He has real long legs, long arms and runs well. He also has a real nose for the football and is great at reading plays. I think what really surprised us right away during his sophomore year was how physical he is. He comes up and hits like a linebacker. I think that's what really interested these college coaches when they turned on his film," said Findlay coach Mark Ritzler. "Right away, it's clear that he likes to stick his nose in there. He's not shy at all when it comes to contact."

On his senior season: “I think my season went really well, personally. I had some injuries that I had to fight through, but overall things went well,” Nunn said. “I tied the career interceptions record [for the Findlay Trojans]. As a team, it was great also because we had one goal; that was making it to the playoffs. We achieved that goal.”
