Four-star WR Foster sets announcement date

Four-star receiver Robert Foster has stayed out of the spotlight throughout his recruitment, but on Dec. 21 he will go public when he announces his college choice.
Foster, the No. 8 receiver and the No. 70 overall prospect in the nation, will decide between Pitt and Alabama. He took an official visit to Tuscaloosa in late October and visited Pitt two weeks ago.

If Foster selects Pitt, he will be the Panthers' third four-star recruit and the highest-rated recruit in the class. If he goes to Alabama, he will be the 13th four-star recruit in the Tide's class and share a 6.0 Rivals Rating with four other prospects who have committed.
This season Foster, 6'2" 185, caught 45 passes for 763 yards and eight touchdowns and rushed 57 times for 481 yards and 12 touchdowns. He scored two more touchdowns on kick returns, took a punt return in for a score, and returned an interception to the end zone. He averaged almost 30 yards on punt and kick returns, and even averaged 40 yards per punt.
