Chryst gets another junior recruit

Pitt added its third commitment to the class of 2015 Tuesday when Altoona linebacker Kevin Givens committed to the Panthers.
On Tuesday afternoon, Givens tweeted "Proud to be a Pitt panther….#H2P!"

Givens picked Pitt over offers from Temple and Massachusetts and was drawing interest from Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State, among others. He visited Pitt for the Panthers' Junior Day earlier this month and came away with a very favorable impression.
"I feel like Pitt is my number-one school right now after going up there," he told Panther-Lair.com. "I really liked the campus and I felt at home. It was a different kind of atmosphere from what I'm used to, but I really liked it."
With good linebacker size at 6'2" 232, Givens could play inside or outside in Pitt's 4-3 defensive scheme. He is the third recruit to commit to Pitt in the class of 2015, joining Canon McMillan offensive lineman Alex Paulina and Kittanning tight end Nick Bowers.
