There's been a change of plans for McKeesport Ath. Khaleke Hudson.

Just a few weeks back, the three-star prospect noted that he planned to take his final official visit to Wisconsin Jan. 29-31. However, he's now decided that he'll stay close to home that weekend, electing to take his final official visit to Pittsburgh instead.

"There's really not a whole lot that has changed with Pitt recently, other than my official visit," Hudson said. "I decided to go to Pitt that final weekend instead of Wisconsin. I just feel like Pitt is a school that I'm more interested in. I have a great relationship with their coaches and I feel comfortable there, so I thought it was more important for me to take an official visit to Pitt."

As for his relationship with the staff, Hudson went on to add that he's still speaking with multiple coaches from Pitt regularly.

"Everything is going well," he said. "I've been talking to a couple coaches from Pitt, which is good. I enjoy getting to know as many coaches from these schools as I can, and not just one or two. I think it's important to have a good relationship with as many coaches as possible, so that's all been going good. We're still talking whenever we get a chance."

When it comes to the competition, Hudson recently noted that he's now focused on just Pitt, Michigan, Penn State and UCLA, eliminating Wisconsin and Virginia Tech. He's already taken an official visit to UCLA and is set to go to Michigan the weekend of Jan. 15-17, followed by Penn State rhe next weekend.

That means that Pitt will be the last school that he visits before making a decision.

"The visit to UCLA was great," said Hudson. "It's a lot different from where I'm from. Everything is beautiful out there. I can't think of anything negative about it. The distance from home is a small factor. That is a lot of travel, but my family doesn't have any issues with that. As long as I'm comfortable with the school and the coaches, that's all my family cares about."

Hudson is actually on his way back to Los Angeles today, as he's set to participate in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, which will take place Jan. 3 and will air on Fox Sports 1 at 9 PM. He said he's been looking forward to this opportunity ever since he was invited.

"To get an opportunity like that, I just can't wait. To play against some of the best players in the nation, I think it'll be a good test for me before I get to college. I'm really looking forward to it."

In addition to his three-star rating, Hudson is also the 14th ranked prospect in Pennsylvania for the Class of 2016.
