Four-star Eulls becomes a Bulldog

Four-star defensive end Kaleb Eulls planned to tell the country his college choice on national television when he participated in the U.S. Army All-American Game in January.

But he just simply couldn't hold out that long. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder called Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen late Sunday night and gave his commitment to the Bulldogs.

"I just took the things that I had and evaluated them and talked it over with my parents and decided to make a great choice," Eulls said. "They've got great coaches, a great atmosphere and great players. I'm looking forward to playing for Coach Mullen."

Eulls spent most of Sunday evening on the phone with the MSU coaching staff talking with Mullen, Melvin Smith, Tony Hughes and David Turner.

Eulls already feels a sense of relief getting the decision over with so he can concentrate fully on his upcoming season at Yazoo County.

"It takes a whole lot of pressure off," Eulls said.

Eulls chose State over offers from Southern Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Ole Miss.
