Tigers exploring Michigan again

Missouri appears to be recruiting Michigan with more tenacity this season. Already, the Tigers have offered five recruits from Michigan. Most recently, Grand Blanc WR Tony Jones picked up an offer from the Tigers.

Currently, the three-star recruit holds offers from over ten schools, including Ole Miss, Illinois, Michigan State and Wisconsin, among others.

This summer, Jones is working on trimming that list down before he makes a decision at the end of August. He already visited Illinois, Michigan, Northwestern and Toledo, and he has a few more visits on the horizon.

While he hasn't eliminated any schools yet, he knows what he's looking for. Ideally, he wants a school that runs the spread offense, because Grand Blanc runs the spread and he's very familiar with it. After that, he's looking for a good connection with the coaches and players, and, of course, strong academics.
