Roberson fits title and visit into one weekend

It was easy to forgive three-star defensive tackle Deion Roberson if he sounded a little exhausted Sunday night when Cardinalsports.com caught up with him to get an update on his recruitment. On Friday night, he watched his Tucker H.S. (Ga.) teammates win a state title, and then he immediately left for an official visit to Louisville.

Roberson's busy weekend started Friday evening as Tucker H.S. defeated Marist 15-3 in the 4A State Title game. While Roberson was unable to play as he continues to rehabilitate an ankle injury, he was able to soak in the excitement.

"It was real crazy - the first time in the school's history," Roberson said of the championship. "Everybody was excited, people were crying, and it was just a big accomplishment for the entire team and the whole community."
