Lampley has MSU on his radar

College coaches have a long list of things they look for when evaluating a recruit. They look for speed, quickness, heart, coaching potential, leadership, character and many others.

Simply put, Tracy Lampley exemplifies all of those traits.

Lampley has seen time on the field for Wayne County High School since his 9th grade season. Lampley is a game changer and many top programs have taken notice.

"Recruiting is going great," Lampley said. "I have offers from Mississippi State, UAB and Southern Miss. Things are also really picking up with South Carolina. They are coming by the school this week to visit me and they are talking real good. I think South Carolina is close to offering."

All of those schools seem to be in the mix for the 5-9, 170-pounder from Waynesboro, Miss.

"All schools are even right now," Lampley said. "I want to wait and take my visits at the end of the season. I want to visit as many SEC schools as I can."
