Duncan one of 2009's best
McKinney North junior Colton Duncan had the dream season as a sophomore starter for the Bulldogs. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound right guard helped lead North to the playoffs, was named all-district and second team 4A all-state. With the type of season that Duncan put together, it comes without surprise that the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners sent out camp invites with the hope of taking a closer look at the right guard.
Duncan took the camp invites as a chance to get his name out more and perform at a high level in front of college coaches.
Do the summer camps give the Longhorns and Sooners the early edge in the recruiting process? Duncan says not at this time as he has to really study all of the programs that recruit him.
