Polk peeks cross-town

After earning a scholarship offer from USC in February, Redlands (Calif.) East Valley wide receiver Chris Polk promptly committed to the Trojans coaching staff weeks later.

Over the course of the summer, Polk has been hidden away in the classroom preparing to graduate high school early. That was until he showed up at UCLA last week.

"I was in the area for a family thing, so my mom thought it would be a chance to take a visit," said Polk. "I wanted to see the campus, see what their practices were like. We took a small tour, and saw the locker room, meeting room and all of that."

With fall training being the focus on his unofficial visit, Polk contrasted what he saw at UCLA with what he's seen from USC.
