Prospects take in Southern Miss Camps

Each summer the Southern Miss coaching staff hosts some of the regions top talent at the Jeff Bower Football Camps. The camps consists of two one day High School Elite Mini-Camps and one overnight skills camps. In past years many camp participants end up as Southern Miss recruits and on signing day Golden Eagles. This year's camp features some of the top recruits in the south. It may be months before we know how much of an impact the camps make in a recruits decision, but having some of the region's best players on campus is always a positive.

This week more than 400 campers from 15 states, some as far away as Pennsylvania and Minnesota, will begin converging on the Southern Miss campus to hone their skills and attempt to catch the eye of the Golden Eagle coaching staff.

Lets take a look at some of the top offensive prospects that are scheduled to be in Hattiesburg. Session I of the High School Elite Mini-Camp will begin on June 23 While Session II of the High School Elite Mini-Camp will be held on July 14. The Position Skills Camp will be held on June 24-26.
