Clarence Ward working hard in off-season

Despite how early it is, Arizona's 2008 recruiting class is already shaping up to be one of its best ever with early commitments from Gerell Robinson, Robert Golden and Keola Antolin.

However, Santa Rosa Junior College cornerback Clarence Ward is also a big part of how good the class could be.

As a recruit coming out of high school in 2005, Ward was rated four stars by and was the number six cornerback in the country when he committed to Florida State. He got injured in his first preseason and requested a release from school to move back to Texas to take care of his son and family.
