Homestead LB is a major prospect
Homestead (Fla.) High is no stranger to cranking out major Division I-A football talent. In the Class of 2008, the headliner from coach Bobby McCray's program appears to be linebacker prospect Marcus Robinson.
The 6-foot-3, 222-pounder currently holds scholarship offers from Miami (Fla.), Auburn, Central Florida, Missouri and Florida, among others.
New Hurricane linebackers coach Michael Barrow, a Homestead native and former Miami and NFL standout, is recruiting Robinson for the Canes. Barrow was working with players at Homestead High before taking a job under new Miami head coach Randy Shannon.
