Ohio quarterback puts up some big numbers

Five years ago quarterback Ben Mauk came out a small school in Ohio putting up record breaking number at Kenton, Ohio. Mauk threw for 6,540 passing yards and 76 touchdowns his senior season. He was named Mr. Football in Ohio in 2002 before accepting a scholarship at Wake Forest.

Another small school quarterback from the same county in Ohio is putting up some very big numbers. Zac Dysert from Ada, Ohio completed 299 passes on 458 attempts this past year for 3,832 yards. Dysert completed 65% of his passes while throwing 31 touchdown passes for the Bulldogs who went 7-4 last year.

Dysert indicated in addition to Pitt he has already made visits this year to Cincinnati, Purdue, Northwestern, Florida State and Notre Dame.
