SoCal athlete gets USC offer

The Inland Empire is home for one very best prospects for the class of 2008. Chris Polk (6-0, 200, 4.45) from Redlands (Calif.) East Valley has seen his stock heat up after signing day with four quick offers.

"I knew Chris was going to he highly recruited," East Valley coach Kurt Bruich said. "Pete Carroll himself and the USC Trojans offered Chris a scholarship."

USC wasn't the only school that thought enough of the athletic Polk to offer scholies. He also has offers from Oregon, Washington and UTEP.
