Does Brantley have the right stuff?

If the question is who is and isn't capable of directing the University of Florida offense, there is no better person to provide the answer than former Gator quarterback Kerwin Bell. After all he earned SEC Player of the Year honors while leading the Gators to a 9-1-1 record as a freshman on his way to compiling a 30-13-2 record as a four year starter.

Bell, affectionately dubbed "The Throwin' Mayoan" while at Florida, completed his career in 1987 as then the greatest statistical passer in SEC history.

Those days are in the past and regrettably, there are some recruitniks who more than likely know him better as the coach of Ocala (Fla.) Trinity Catholic quarterback John Brantley.
