Omaha's finest shine

OMAHA, Neb. - What was formerly known as the Omaha Outback Camp is now called the MGM Camp in conjunction with MGM Contraction Inc. in Papillion.

This year's camp features the six Omaha Public schools, along with Bellevue East, Ralston and Fremont. The camp has been held at Omaha Northwest High School for the last three days, but it will wrap up with live scrimmage games at Omaha Central on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

One of the top storylines at this week's camp besides the top Omaha Area players taking part in the event is the fact that three of the six Omaha Public Schools are breaking in new head coaches-Omaha Central, Burke and South.

Central head coach Jay Ball, Burke head coach Paul Ligmoni and South head coach Rob Mason are all getting their first official looks at their new teams at the MGM camp.

Ball said this week's camp will serve as an invaluable tool to help implement his new system at Central.
