Panther prospects play in MDC

The Memorial Day Classic was moved to the Nashville area from New Orleans this year as the result of Hurricane Katrina. The 17 and under teams played at the new Emsworth High School which features some of the better basketball facilities in the country. They have four courts, which were used simultaneously to keep the large field busy.

Team Final which features power forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (6 9") and swingman Nasir Robinson (6' 5") from Chester. Both players claim scholarship offers from the University of Pittsburgh. Team Final made it through their pool on Saturday and played Team Melo from the Baltimore-Washington, DC area on Sunday afternoon.

Team Melo featured guard Macolm Delaney(6' 3) from Towson Catholic and five-star forward Donte Green (6'8") from the same high school in Baltimore.
