Offers rolling in for McGhee

The SYF Players has provided college basketball with some top level Division I prospects over the past couple of years, and this year is no different. The team is filled with division one prospect, from the backcourt to the low post. With that caliber of players, college coaches are assured to pay attention when the team takes the court. One player who looks to be reaping the rewards of this attention is Anderson Highland High School's big man, Gary McGhee. The 6'10" low post presence has seen his recruitment take off in the early part of the AAU season.

McGhee was getting some decent looks prior to the start of the AAU season, but he stated that it really picked up after his performance at the Kingwood Classic in late April.

Right now, McGhee claims to have offers from South Florida, DePaul, Wyoming, Virginia, Wisconsin, Ball State, Bowling Green and Bradley. He is also attracting attention from Xavier, Oregon State, Michigan, Indiana, Purdue, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Dayton.
