Cubs are loaded again

The Brenham Cubs boast one of the more talented teams in the entire state of Texas regardless of classification. With as many as seven Division I talents in the 2007 class and possibly 13 or more in the program, head coach Glen West has been a busy man this spring entertaining college coaches from coast to coast.

"We have had coaches from around the country come through. Miami and Texas were here Tuesday and Purdue is here (Wednesday). We have seen everybody," West said.

Names such as Jarrett Lee, Ahmard Howard, Justin Daniels and Shawn Sullivan (TCU commit) have been known in recruiting circles for close to year now, but two-way prospect Brandon Collins is receiving as much interest as any Cub player.
