Thigpen interest rising

Brandon Thigpen has been holding the same single scholarship offer for several weeks. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound safety prospect out Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde feels recruiting momentum beginning to build, and more offers could be just around the corner. Where do the Huskers stand up against some of the other schools that have joined this recruiting race?

Over the past year, Thigpen has been able to get a first-hand glimpse of college football, taking unofficial visits to UCLA, Nebraska, San Diego State, and New Mexico State. He said that, from his experiences, one school stands out above the rest.

Nebraska is the only school to offer, but Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, New Mexico State and Washington continue to show interest.
