Big talent in small Missouri town
Wellington-Napoleon High School may not be traditionally known for turning out Division One football talent. But there is no doubt that the small town about 30 miles east of Kansas City on Highway 24 has a big-time talent this year. Kyle Nixdorf is starting to hear from some college football heavyweights.
Nixdorf plays on both sides of the ball at Wellington-Napoleon. At 6-foot-1, 235 pounds, he is being recruited as a fullback, a linebacker or a defensive lineman.
He said that Missouri and Arkansas are probably recruiting him the hardest right now, but the Tigers and the Razorbacks aren't alone.
