Carmichael travels to the Northwest

With already a handful of scholarship offers in tow and plenty of others showing great interest, Charlie Carmichael is starting to see what the schools he's been getting correspondence from are all about.


So, the physical 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive tackle from Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, has started taking unofficial visits to college campuses to get a taste of each program.


Taking a break from his busy schedule with track, Carmichael made a short tour of a trio of schools — which included Oregon State.


"I just came back from a Northwest trip, where I visited Oregon, Oregon State, and Washington," Carmichael said. "While I was up at Oregon, they offered me and my teammate Sam DeMartinis. They're my most recent offer, to go along with San Diego State, UNLV, Mississippi, Arizona State, and Washington."
