NJ RB has one problem with BC offer
Running back Devon Ramsay, from The Lawrenceville, N.J., School, picked up his lone scholarship offer from Boston College at the end of March. The 6-foot-2, 243-pounder is excited about the offer, but one aspect of it turns him off.
"I got the offer on March 30 and it's really cool. I like it a lot," he said. "The only bad thing about the offer is the fact that they are looking at me to play fullback and I don't think I really want to play that position.
"Being a running back, that is my passion and if another school offers me as a tailback that would move them up my list. I do like almost everything else about Boston College though including the football team and academics. Coming from Lawrenceville which is a big academic area, it's nice to have that option. Then I also know they are a competitive football school and I like that aspect too."
Ramsay has yet to talk to the coaches at BC, but he did visit Chestnut Hill last year for summer camp.
