Clemson leading for in-state junior defensive end

Clemson has jumped out in front for one of the state's top junior prospects, future four-star rated defensive end Cliff Matthews of Cheraw. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound jumbo-athlete recently picked up an offer from Tennessee. For Clemson, wide receivers coach Dabo Swinney is recruiting. On Tuesday, the blue-chip prospect talked about his early favorites, and why Clemson holds the lead for his services.
