Rutgers has a lot more work to do

For most of the summer, everything was just perfect for Rutgers on the recruiting circle. The Scarlet Knights had bagged what would turn out to be 3 of the top 150 players in the nation, as ranked by Gerald Inman, Jaron Griffin and Anthony Farmer. Those three gave Rutgers instant credibility on the recruiting trail, aided by the team's 20-13 season and run to the NIT championship game.

More success is almost certain to follow, as names such as Andrew Bynum, Tyrell Biggs, John Garcia and Kendric Price have shown, at one point or another, big-time interest in Rutgers. Other names also have popped up, including Ahmad Nivins, Kent Tribbett and Sead Odzic. But there's one slight problem: Nearly all of those names no longer have Rutgers at or near the top of their list.

At least that's what recruiting analyst Justin Young believes.
