Opposing coaches impressed with Samuelson

Scott Hoover has had enough of scouting recent Michigan commitment Dan Samuelson. The head coach for Northwood High School, Hoover has met Samuelson's Plymouth team four times in the past two seasons, and every time walked away impressed with the three-star offensive lineman.

"Plymouth runs the football the majority of the game, and when you watch film, you think to yourself, 'How can we stop this offense when they get a fullback behind that kid?' because he just creates such a tremendous initial push and he allows that lead blocker to just come through and clean up your linebacker or safety," Hoover noted.

Northwood had the last laugh, beating Plymouth in three of the four matchups, including twice in the playoffs in 2011 and 2012, but it wasn't easy.
