Easley helps turn the tide for Florida

December was one brutal month for the Florida football program. It began with news of Carlos Dunlap's DUI arrest on the very first day of the month and ended with five-star safety Matt Elam decommitting from the Gators, opting instead for instate rival Florida State on the month's final day.

In between Florida suffered a blowout loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, found out that head coach Urban Meyer hospitalized and saw defensive coordinator Charlie Strong and recruiting coordinator Billy Gonzales leave for other programs.
