Polk grabs early offers
Redlands (Calif.) East Valley athlete Chris Polk is well ahead of the recruiting curve.
While many top juniors await their first scholarship offer, Polk already has four. His latest scholarship offer, which arrived last week, was unexpected. Now coveted by one of the nation's foremost football powers, Polk is getting a crash course in recruiting.
At 6-foot, 200-pounds, Polk stakes claim to being the Inland Empires most dynamic offensive threat. Having caught 62 passes for 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns, the All-Citrus Belt League standout added another 13 rushing touchdowns to his resume in 2006.
