Empire State TE hoping to hear from Marshall
Jamestown, N.Y., tight end Aaron Connacher (6-foot-2, 225 pounds, 4.7 seconds) is one of the top tight ends in New York for 2007. Connacher, who currently holds one scholarship offer, was an all-state selection last year as a junior. The talented tight end is looking to build on that performance and gain some college interest along the way. Marshall is a school that Connacher is very interested in. Will the Herd offer?
"That is my hope," said Connacher of whether or not Marshall will extend a scholarship offer.
The state of New York is not as fertile a recruiting ground for football as it is basketball. Connacher has decided to take his recruitment to the colleges instead of waiting for them to come to him.
"I sent my film to the Marshall coaches last week. I am excited to hear what they think because Marshall is a school that I am interested in."
