Mosley-Smith has two favorites
Even the most die-hard followers of recruiting may be hard pressed to say much about Khaynin Mosley-Smith, a rising senior and a defensive tackle from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills.
That's largely because the 6-foot-1, 275-pound prospect is only now starting to register on the recruiting radar of colleges.
He recently picked up his first offer, and he's appreciative of the interest other schools have been giving to him.
"Ohio just gave me an offer," Mosley-Smith recalled. "I've talked to one of the coaches. That's pretty good, being my first offer.
"I've been talking to a lot of coaches constantly ... non-stop. I've been talking to Pitt, West Virginia, Minnesota, Michigan, Syracuse ... a whole bunch of them."
Mosley-Smith said he plans on camping at Michigan from June 17-19 and West Virginia on June 21.
He's not shy about talking about his favorites.
"My favorite schools right now would probably be West Virginia and Pitt.
"Man, at Pitt I just feel like I'm at home. When they showed me around on the campus it was nice. I'm real cool with all the coaches. I can just call them on a day-to-day basis and have a conversation.
"West Virginia's got a real good coach. We're always talking. That's how we got the hook up with me coming on the 21st. He's a real good coach."
Mosley-Smith's only offer thus far has come from the Bobcats, and he said he will likely wait until Signing Day to make his decision, so he will know what offers he has to choose from.
