The Pitt football team added its eighth recruit from the class of 2008 on Monday night when Mentor (OH) kicker Kevin Harper committed to Dave Wannstedt over the phone.

Current Pitt kicker Conor Lee has one year of eligibility remaining after this season, meaning Harper (5'11" 175) would redshirt for one year before taking over placekicking duties.
