Mentor (Ohio) Mentor High School kicker Kevin Harper (5-foot-11, 175 pounds) headed into the season with offers from Marshall and Kent.

In first few weeks of the season, he hit a 58-yard field goal and then followed it with a state record-breaking 61-yard kick.

Since that time, Harper has seen his ranking on Rivals increase to three-stars and his recruitment take off.
