Reaves a rising star in recruiting world

Named on Monday to the Rivals.com Top 25 Recruiters list for the second straight year, USC recruiting coordinator David Reaves is responsible for organizing and compiling the best recruiting class in Carolina history. In today's report, we will take a look at the seven prospects signed by Reaves, who is quickly gaining the reputation as one of the elite recruiters in the country.
The 28-year-old Reaves recruits the Midlands of South Carolina, and landed two blue-chip prospects from Columbia in four-star prospects Quintin Richardson and Mark Barnes. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Richardson is from Spring Valley High, which is Reaves' alma mater. The Rivals100 prospect was USC's second verbal commitment, which came on the eve of last year's spring game. Richardson chose USC over Clemson, Tennessee, Auburn, and Virginia Tech, among others.
