Signees fill needs, could play early
The fax machine rang 27 times in the Husky football offices on Wednesday. And for the first time in a couple of years, National Signing Day brought very little in the way of surprises. The most breath being held was when the LOI of Brandon Johnson wasn't confirmed until very close to the beginning of Tyrone Willingham's press conference. But other than that, things went pretty much as expected.
This class, the third of Willingham's tenure at Washington, and second full class, is one that filled needs on many levels. And those needs may be filled sooner than later by this class, with studs coming in left and right.
