Westside's Anderson will sign with FlU
Earlier this year the Miami Hurricanes came into Nebraska and offered Omaha Central offensive lineman Harland Gunn.
The Canes offer to Gunn turned into an early commitment and made him the first known Nebraska high school prospect to commit to Miami in recent history.
On Monday, Rivals.com learned another Omaha area football player will be signing a Division I letter of intent to play for a Miami area college.
Omaha Westside quarterback Colt Anderson informed Rivals.com that he visited Florida International over the weekend. The 6-foot-4, 195 pound Anderson said he liked everything he saw at FIU and committed to first-year head coach Mario Cristobal during his official visit.
