Dallas (TX) Madison High School RB Shawnbrey McNeal received a verbal Miami offer four days ago.

And coach Clint Hurtt brought the official scholarship offer letter with him today on a visit to McNeal's school.

McNeal accepted on the spot.

He was previously a Texas A&M commitment. But that was before the Canes came calling.

"Miami started recruiting me a couple of weeks ago," McNeal said. "I've been liking the Canes for a long time, since Willis McGahee was there.
