Pitt's most recent commitment returns home

Aundre Wright committed to Pitt last week, and was already able to play a game in his hometown on Monday. It took two plays for him to make an impact. His Milford Academy Falcons defeated the Robert Morris JV team, at Joe Walton Stadium, 41-6. Wright caught two passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns, including one that went for 90 yards.

Milford Academy improves to 7-0 on the season. In last week's game against the Dartmouth JV squad, Wright pulled in four catches for 164 yards, one of those going for a touchdown.

Wright concluded his high school career at Perry Traditional Academy, catching 20 passes for 600 yards (30.0 avg.) and 13 touchdowns. He was named to the Big 33 team as well. As a junior, Wright caught 25 passes for 900 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Judging by his numbers on Monday at Robert Morris, big plays and a high yards per catch average seem to be his thing. On this day though, Wright was most excited about playing in his hometown.
