Duhart looks forward to Pitt

As college coaches move through the recruiting season, they have to keep watch on prospects at a number of levels. Not only do they have to focus on the current recruiting class, but they also have to always be mindful of the next year's class. At the same time, coaches are constantly perusing the ranks of junior colleges across the country. The Pitt coaches pulled two JUCO transfers for this season in left tackle Jeff Otah and defensive back Lowell Robinson.

Dave Wannstedt and his staff also have an 'in' with a number of JUCO players who signed a letter of intent to play at Pitt. One of those possibilities is 2005 recruit Tommie Duhart. Duhart is currently getting set to play defensive end at Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas.Duhart, 6-4, 275 pounds, was initially recruited to Pitt to play either tight end or defensive end. He now projects as an interior lineman and hopes to get back to Pitt.
