In addition to speaking with Wicomico coach Dave Nettles, MdHigh publisher Dave Lomonico also chatted with Indians running back Dontea Ayres. The 5-foot-9, 205-pound three-star recruit is coming off a season where he rushed for almost 1,500 yards, averaged over 12 yards per carry and scored 26 touchdowns. A physical freak with his bodybuilder's frame and eye-popping weight-room numbers, Ayres carried the Wi-Hi offense and helped lead them to the regional finals.
